Excellent and motivated people are the foundation of any successful organization. And our programmers are no exception. But even excellent people can struggle if they don't have the right tools. That is why CSI's systems are developed using a true relational database management system (RDBMS) and a powerful fourth generation language (4GL) tool. In today's transaction intensive environment, a RDBMS is mandatory. Add the power of a 4GL tool and you have the capabilities to develop solutions that are productive and can be enhanced without major complications.

In addition to the advantages of RDBMS and 4GL capabilities, CSI utilizes a rapid development system (RDS) for running its programs. RDS allows our application to run with almost any UNIX operating system without internal compilers or linkers. If you have a UNIX platform preference, then CSI will use it.

CSI has chosen Microsoft's Visual Basic as our Windows programming tool. Our new Windows products have the look and feel of an everyday Windows application, but for our heads down power users, we will still provide for the use of the keyboard versus a mouse.

Finally, our software solutions must be developed for the customer and not by our own interpretation of the customer's needs. We work with each customer to find out what is important to them. Our best ideas simply come from listening.
